Originally from Poland, Atmos (Tomasz Balicki) is a Swedish progressive/psychedelic trance producer. He is most famous for his 1999 hit, The Only Process.
His music is characterized by a combination of deep pulsating beats and basslines with subtle understated melodies and soaring atmospheric sounds. His influences from electronic and ambient-rock music like JM Jarre and Pink Floyd are evident in his sound, and he is one of the most successful producers in the hypnotic and atmospheric trance realm.
Atmos had released 6 albums, many singles and has countless appearances on various compilations, but most important his music has been embraced, played and loved by a broad spectrum of people all around the globe. His sense for merging rhythm with delicate strings into a well-produced groove is guaranteed to make everyone get down on the dance floor.
