Eric Cloutier has made a name for himself as a world class selector of deep and thoughtful music at local hotspots in his native Detroit, internationally acclaimed clubs such as Berghain and Tresor in his current hometown of Berlin, as well as mythologised places like The Bunker in New York and Vitamin Cubes in Tbilisi.
In terms of festivals, Cloutier is one of the select few who has been invited to play the culturally considered affair that is Japan’s Labyrinth, alongside Donato Dozzy and Peter van Hoesen, as well as appearances at Melbourne’s Strawberry Fields.
He has recently ventured away from the DJ booth and into the studio, releasing music for Wolfskuil Records, Mosaic, and more recently launching his own label, Palinoia, to much acclaim.
